Startup World Cup 2026 regional winner announced in Astana: who will represent Kazakhstan in Silicon Valley

Nazarbayev University hosted the Kazakhstan stage of Startup World Cup KAZAKHSTAN 2026 (SWC), one of the world's largest championships for technology startups. The jury selected the startup that will travel to San Francisco to represent the country and compete for the grand prize of $1,000,000. The winner is Mirai Tech, a SportTech startup.
Results and key figures
10 finalists selected from 140+ applications. More than 300 guests: investors, venture fund representatives, business angels, the IT community, NU alumni and students.
Grand prize
The winner earned a place at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in the USA with the opportunity to raise $1,000,000 in investment, as well as a special $20,000 prize from event partner JAS Ventures to cover the trip.
